New for AWGA in 2010- The AWGA Challenge Series
The tournament within a tournament - How it works: There are six available tournaments in the series. You must compete in and complete at least three of them. You must play at least three tournaments from similar tees or flights. For example- Championship or Regular Flight. In each of the six events, six holes are designated for calculation of your gross score. When the competition concludes in September, your lowest 18 hole gross score relative to par is used to determine the series winners. Multiple prizes will be awarded according to the number of players and handicap levels competing in the series. Ties will be played off at our Four Ball tournament on September 18. You must be entered in the Four Ball tournament to play off a tie. Information and scores will be updated on our website at the conclusion of each Challenge Series tournament. You will be able to follow your progress and check your status relative to the Challenge field. Are you up to the Challenge?
