2011 Senior Tri States Champions

Congratulations Team Mississippi, the 2011 Senior Tri States Champions. Team Mississippi edged out Team Arkansas with a 10 1/2 to 9 1/2 point victory. Thanks to Team Louisiana and the Black Bear Golf Course and Lodge in Delhi, LA for hosting this year's event. The food, fun and fellowship were awesome! Looking forward to seeing everyone next year, as the Senior Tri States tournament moves to Arkansas for the first time.


Mississippi won the 2nd Annual Senior Tri-States competition held August 20-21 at Black Bear Golf Club in Delhi, Louisiana with a total of 10½ points. Arkansas was a close second with 9½ points and Louisiana followed with 7 points. After the first day of four-ball competition, Mississippi led with 4 points, followed by Arkansas with 3 points and Louisiana with 2 points. That one point lead proved to be the winning margin at the conclusion of the competition. Both Arkansas and Mississippi scored a total of 6½ points during the singles competition on the second day.
