The Arkansas Womens' Golf Association celebrated the golden anniversary of its Junior Girls' Championship on July 11th at Chenal Country Club in Little Rock. The evening featured a retrospective of 50 years of Junior golf history, hosted by 1989-1990 junior champion, Lisa Cornwell. Many of the tournament's past champions made their way to the microphone to share personal memories of their time associated with the tournament. The evening was concluded with a video presentation highlighting 50 years of Junior Girls golf.
